We’re excited to launch a new program with our Garden Educator Michaela!
Starting the week of June 29, she’ll lead 30-minute gardening sessions from 4:30–5:00 PM, Monday – Thursday, before joining our regular volunteer work sessions to provide hands-on guidance in our mini farms
Each week will focus on a different topic, with lessons adapted for both new and returning participants.
Sessions are open to volunteers of all ages and are a great way to build your gardening skills while supporting our mission to provide fresh, locally-grown produce to our neighbors in need.
Details are as follows:
Monday & Wednesday at The Adult Activities Center, 80 Manorhaven Blvd., 4:30- 5:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday – the Helen Keller National Center, 141 Middle Neck Road, 4:30- 5:00 PM
Please note: Students entering 10th grade and above may attend independently. Younger children must be accompanied by a parent or adult. A participation form must be completed for all minors.
We hope to see you there!
